A Crack in Time's space gameplay was originally 2D

Examiner: In their recent Full Moon Show podcast, Insomniac Games revealed that the space gameplay of Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time was much different during the early stages of development.

I'm getting it for christmas. I really can't wait for it.

And I don't know if I'm ready for it to be the last one in the series. I'm all for new ips but this is Ratchet and Clank. An action platformer doesn't get much better than that.

They also had this other concept that pulled the Ratchet's space craft way towards the screen (rather than having it far out like in the final game) and the heath bar was like a green curved hologram at the back of Ratchet's pace craft but that also didn't work out for Insomniac.

But it did look pretty cool though from the concept art.

EDIT: I still haven't finished this game and I've been at it for 3 weeks this being my 4th lol.

I'd actually like the ship a fair bit closer to the screen IE colony wars or something. Its probably my only complaint about the game.
