Zipper Interactive has had an overwhelming response to the MAG beta, so they have decided to extend it and open up some more spots on the battlefield. All you have to do is fill out the MAG beta registration to receive your beta code.
(Comment of excitement has been edited) FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU-
not for americans just au and nz
Yeah... They might want to put that in the article description before too many hearts are broken...
Well, it made me happy!...as long as they send me the code that is.
Hope my AU account will work for this I would love to get to play the beta again.
honestly the game needs alot of work, glad there doing this.
Every time I see an update I'm intrigued but every time I log back on all I'm met with is disappointment...
They are probably pretty late in development to make any large sweeping changes. At the same time, there is nothing wrong with tweaking the balance post release.
agreed, every update feels worse than the last one. i'm kind of turned off to mag now since it's not what it used to be. i also noticed zipper has a real big thing with sver as they have the best defending maps for acquisition and have the strongest guns. i can't believe zipper would balance and nerf raven's guns but not sver's.
Its not that its a bad game or anything its just missing that "MAGIC" That cod or killzone feeling you get. the feeling that gives a game its own unique feel that makes it wonderful. Maybe i will log back in tonight and give it another chance.
I noticed that after I started playing kizz2 again. I think besides the gameplay the weapons and player models could use some more realism. The environments arnt bad the graphics shine in some areas too but if you look @ bfbc2 beta i just prefer destructible environments and what bdfc2 has too offer because that game looks better than mag but with less players. I criticize this game because im pretty sure the final product will be much of the same as the beta and i do feel the game could have more much more to make it top notch. Im talking more realistic movements, physics, gun weapon recoils, in game gun sounds. I know it was the beta maybe the final will have these goodies. Honestly i will more than likely purchase the game but it will need some staying power for me to get hooked. 1 other thing i dont like is the fov setting in this game it feels a little wide and the gun looks like stick straight out just my impression of it
But I'm not feeling it. Having been in so many betas before the game won't change much & it makes a little angry. Playing MAG has made me appreciate slant 6 can you believe it?! Socom is so much more prettier & moody where as MAG feels like trash. I'm sorry but running straight to an objective to charge something 1000 times in a match is so boring. I don't like the way my avatar spawns when he floats out of air & lands. I don't like the guns & how it feels like Punisher no mercy. The graphics look like it was drawn with fake crayons with sand on it. Very dissapointing. I've been waiting on a military shooter that will blend well with my sessions of socom, killzone2, mgo & uncharted2 & it seems after only sampling battlefield bad company 2 & mag, mag is canceled out. Bad company 2 feels like the season of Generation kill from HBO! It's sick though after a while it's battlefield all over again. I'm getting mw2 next week from my bro because he got bored with it & I most likely will too. Zipper in my opinion wasted millions of dollars & precious dev time messing with this bland arcade game. They better think twice about releasing this for full price. The only thing that looks well done is the avatar & smoke. It's a huge possibility that I won't even buy battlefield or mw2. I'm in shooter nirvana already with socom, mgo & killzone2 that I might be just wasting money on pure averageness. Even a fps junkie like me has to seperate the genre.
Only if you live in New Zealand or Australia. FFFFFFUUUUUUUU
..drab, confusing. After KZ2 everything else just feels plastic.
Need a MAG beta please
