Square-Go writes: "In the poorly animated opening cinematic of Risen, you're on a ship destroyed by tempestuous seas, apparently created by evil magic. You one other survivor are washed ashore with naught to your name but some ragged clothes and soon find a big stick to hit the nearby vultures with. Sara and yourself will then make it inland a bit. There, some of the basic mechanics of resting and healing are explained. From that point the whole island is yours to roam, but you'll not survive without joining up with one of the nearby factions." 3/5
