Despite Big Air's minor shortcomings, it conveys the feel of snowboarding in a convincing manner by replacing the inane fetch quests and looping rails of the genres forebears with pure snowboarding. For about half the cost of a lift ticket at a major ski resort, Stoked: Big Air Edition's mountains and riding are an authentic representation of what snowboarding is: a canvas for creativity, where finding a perfect line is its own reward. A-/A+
(not VG ones...real ones)
I've never even seen it instore. (I'm referring to the original version)
But I don't think the game sold well, VGcharts are the only numbers I know of.
It's my second or third favorite snowboarding game after. IMO it's right up there with amped, twisted edge, 1080, ssx and coolboarders. It's a snowboarding version of skate.
If you find a copy I highly recommend it.
