College News Reviews: Band Hero

"Band Hero is a game that was definitely developed with a casual, family audience in mind, and that's fine. As a family music game, it excels with solid, fun gameplay and a diverse soundtrack full of popular hits and some old classics. As a Guitar Hero game, though, Band Hero does absolutely nothing to advance the series or the genre.

If you've faithfully played every Guitar Hero game since the original on the PlayStation 2, it is recommended that you think long and hard before picking up Band Hero. Chances are you might want to spend the cash purchasing new songs for one of the Guitar Hero games you already own. " (Band Hero, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) C+/A+
