While the motion controls are usually superior when it comes to special powers, the same can't be said about the newly implemented Kreate-a-Fatality system in place. Traditionally, you pressed buttons to trigger the round-ending blood baths, but now you swing the Wii-mote around to do so.
The bad news is the seemingly random string of motions required to trigger a Fatality. Once you're able to pull off a Fatality, it's fun – you get to string together up to 10 different punches, kicks and blows – but those moments are far too rare. Maybe sadder, cinematically speaking, Armageddon's fatalities are pretty tame in comparison to what's been seen in past Mortal Kombats.
