Recently posted was a petition for Half-Life 1 to be part of the Orange box. The signature count has reached 210 in two days. This might be another Bioshock petition in the making.
I really want to see the original Half-Life game included, having LOVED Half-Life 2 on the original Xbox, and STILL play it on my 360 since it's backwards compatible:) #25
Thx buddy, i hope we succeed, all i want is Valve to recognize this.
is not nearly enough for anyone to do anything. some other petitions i've seen have gone up to the thousands of signatures.. but yeah, i would definitely be happier if valve inclued hl1 with orange box
not include in orange, but in a seperate CE
I have been waiting for this for a while now and I don't think they should delay it further to get the original in the box. They have been upgrading HL2 for this release so they won't just tack on the first game in its original form. It takes Valve long enough to release stuff and we will be getting 3 different games in one box...enough already. If they want to release it seperately so be it, but I just don't want it delayed longer for that reason.
238, spread my children, spread !
I signed Any petition to get a game "on" a console gets my vote. But it's Half Life It should have been on the 360 already at least in the marketplace
its actually like passed 260 now. i signed up like 10 minutes ago at 230. this will probably break 500 by tomorrow if not the middle of the night
Bioshock had like 10,000 + signatures, didn't it? It would be cool if it worked though...
ITS AT 298 SUPPORT THE CAUSE
I look at this petition in one of two ways. Consumer involvement and cost. Consumer involvement in that unless they recap the story of the original half-life extensively, people who never got a chance to play the first one that started it all might be a bit lost such as yours truly. It would make sense to make a remake of the original so expose a whole new audience to the story from the beginning. Cost however might be a hinderance because to port the entire first game to the current systems would presumably take some effort, unless they didn't do anything with the graphics and just did a direct port, but this would incite the complaints of the whiners among us who have to find a problem with everything no matter how well intentioned it is.
I really wouldn't mind if they included it with the rest and raised the price to $70. That would be pretty cheap for all those games (it's even cheap at the moment for what you get). I also want to know what happened in the first one.
This would be great. And i dont necessarily think that a visual upgrade is required. just as long as it runs on ps3 or 360. THey should up the price. look at the top of the line halo 3? how much is that, and what one game? this is would have how many more. plus one of the better story lines in howlong. I would definatly pay to have the whole story. Similar to The Umbrella Chronicales.
so 300+ sings LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL "Could this be the next Bioshock" remember how many signs Bioshok actually got? you clearly dont! ...again LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LL in the time the author took to post this he could have already bought a brand new copy of Half Life for 2 bucks...
Did Bioshock get 16,000 signaturesin 2 days?, exactly so STFU
I signed it, but 200 signatures definitely isn't many... I think that's a little sad, actually.
I would be willing to pay $70 if it included HL1.. Maybe they could call the collectors edition gold box or some other color.
357 , over night, keep the sigs coming!
