Initially started after the release of Warcraft III, Starcraft II was delayed, put on hold, and finally announced in 2007. Starcraft's legacy on the present and future of real-time strategy games can not be overstated, so Starcraft II has quite a lot of hype to live up to. While it's a Blizzard game, and will no doubt be good, it's debatable whether or not it will be quite the revolution that Starcraft was way back in 1998."
