Spillverket review: Modern Warfare 2

Spillverket.no: "Modern Warfare 2 was certainly among this year's most anticipated games. Now that the game is finally here, there is at least one thing clear. Hype is terribly scary, all the more so when it's bombarded at us from money hungry publishers. MW2 is definitely a good game, but unfortunately a bit short in relation to all expectations. But when that is said, it also says something about how good the game actually is - because the hype this game has generated has very few, if any, games been close to.

The Singleplayer-section is definitely an adventure worth to catch, but mainly to experience all the spectacular and well directed action scenes. The story is in itself very exciting, but unfortunately it becomes very predictable.

You barely have time to breathe because of the fierce pace that chases you out from start to finish, which will probably positive for most people. For me however it's simply too much of the good. A bit like a marzipan cake glazed with molasses and honey.

Fortunately, the game has a bright solid multiplayer mode, which despite the fact that the per now suffers from some technical weaknesses, should fit in a dictionary as the definition for fun. Here is everything you loved its predecessor for, plus a lot extra. Then it goes without saying that there are a lot of fun to be had in the late night hours." (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, PC) 8/10
