1UP: Half-Minute Hero Review

1UP writes: "For Half-Minute Hero I wanted to try and write a review in 30 seconds. But I'm a pretty slow typist, so it would have ended right about....

But I couldn't possibly explain the quirky charm of this novel take on overdone JRPG formula in such a short amount of time. And you probably wouldn't think you could enjoy a game that claims right in the title to last a mere half-minute. Of course, that's a bit of an exaggeration. While almost all of the game's challenges give you a 30 seconds goal, you can usually extend that time. You see, Half-Minute Hero is actually broken up into five distinct game types: Hero 30, Evil Lord 30, Princess 30, and Knight 30. In terms of quality, they're wildly unbalanced, but each offers such a short diversion, that even the worst parts fly by quickly." (Half-Minute Hero, PSP) B+/A+
