Big Download writes: "The legacy of the Tribes series of games is legendary in the first-person shooter community. It's just that much fun, accessible, and innovative. Its influence will likely never die, and many games will attempt to live up to the legend. Timegate's Section 8 has often been compared to Tribes directly, and for good reason, as a lot of similar features and thematic elements are in place. The kicker is that Section 8 really does live up to all of it, and is easily one of the best multiplayer shooters I've played in a long time. Certainly the best of 2009." -
