GeneralGames: Where The Wild Things Are Review

Where The Wild Things Are: The Video Game is very much less of an adaptation than a non-sequitur story within a similar universe. It largely misses the point of it's original work and stands to be a rather average gaming experience. Where the game does shimmer is in the soundness of it's platforming. It's well paced with a slow inclusion of new elements and moves along at a brisk enough pace to keep from stagnating.

Where The Wild Things Are: The Video Game is not for everyone who saw the movie or loved the book, but it may not be a bad choice for any kid who simply can't get enough of the characters and wants to experience something all-new involving them. (PS3, Where the Wild Things Are, Wii, Xbox 360) -
