The Hachiko: Demon's Souls Review

I can see people absolutely loving this game and becoming diehard players despite the difficulty, as that challenge will be the thrill that keeps them pushing forwards. Others will feel the game is too daunting and quit playing not long after they started the game, wishing they hadn't spent the money. Personally speaking, I think Demon's Souls falls somewhere in the middle of those two extremes for me. I enjoyed the game when it was challenging though fair, but sometimes the odds are just too stacked against you for there to be any enjoyment. It's a game that will please as many people as it pisses off." 3.5/5

The game is very unforgiving for the players short comings.
It demands the player adapt and get better with each death.
The game is never unfair (ok unless you started playing on Hallow's eve!).. You die due to your faults. I think most games now give too much leeway for faults and so gamers have gotten soft.

The game is VERY easy the first time around comparatively to what new game+ brings. now thats why i started pulling my hair out.. until I learnt what i was fuking up.

I'm glad i played Demon's Souls.. the ingenious multiplayer system makes the game VERY fun. Trust in a strangers skill :)

If a game like this is too hard for you then you shouldn't be reviewing games period. You will die a lot but only when you do things wrong. It is a challenge but it's never unfair and pros shouldn't have a problem playing it through. Reading some of these Demon's souls reviews really show you how terrible at games some of these people are and makes me wonder why they think they should be telling real gamers that a game is good or not. This game isn't for everyone but nether is Mario or Call of duty for that matter and just like with those games if you don't like platform games or FPS why should you be the one reviewing that game and telling those that like that genre if they should be playing it or not?
