Modern-Gamer: DJ Hero Review

Modern-Gamer writes: The old saying "don't judge a book by its cover" also applies in the case of DJ Hero, you shouldn't judge a game by its controller! At first glance, the idea of using a turntable for a controller in a rhythm game might seem off putting. It could be that the music you expect to hear isn't to your liking, or that you've tried the whole Guitar Hero thing and just didn't get it. Either way, you might think there's no way you could like a game like DJ Hero. The turntable itself is intimidating and your preconceived notion may tell a story of horrible frustration. Well, I can tell you first hand that these ideas about DJ Hero are dead wrong. I too thought DJ Hero was a joke until I played it, and now I'm hooked! It's not just a great addition to the rhythm game genre; it could be one the best rhythm games to ever be released! (Dj Hero, DJ Hero Renegade Edition, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) 9/10
