Rock Band 3 Will Teach People To Play Music For Real

G4TV writes: "In recent interviews, Dhani Harrison, son of Beatle George Harrison, has not only revealed the existence of Rock Band 3, he's also dropped a tantalizing detail about the gameplay. According to Harrison, Rock Band 3 will teach gamers how to play music "for real" as they go."

The story is too old to be commented.

That's not possible... To do a note on a guitar you often use 4 fingers while on Guitar Hero/Rock Band you only use one. >_<

The only instrument from were you could learn something is drums because they are part of the percussion family. But the way you place your hands to use them on the game it's just wrong.

Yes and Bad Company will teach you basic army training for real.

The most they could hope for would be to help you want to learn the real thing. *like myself, I picked up guitar after GH2, and Beck (anime)*

Unless they want to make each fret/string a button. Then that would be one hell of a UI in the game.

That's original how about a new game? buy you developers are boring compared to the older ones that were around during the nes, snes days.

I personally like Rock Band/Guitar Hero games coming out frequently. They are the only games in the genre, so their needs to be a lot. If Rock Band games were stopped being made, Activision would charge royalties for Guitar Hero stuff, and vice versa. And people would be forced to pay $100 per instrument because their is a fanbase for those games, just like how their is a fanbase for games of any genre. I would even go as far as saying that I want a 3rd Rock Band type game.
