this game sucks I PLAYED IT today on my ps3 and I HATED it I dont like the controls at all
you will get a redisigned ps3 controller with rumble in some november. ;)
VF is designed to use joystick... not gamepad... this game is for hardcore fighting game, if you can't play it... play dead or alive. tekken will be great, but I still prefer street fighter III
i never got into the fighting games aside from smash brothers. Is tekken or vf a better series?
The game looks good on the PS3 but shame it has no online and it was also confirmed the 360 version would not either...Now obviously there shouldnt be a problem porting the game over so am assuming the game has a timed exclusiveness meaning that it the 6month time frame for exclusives would be about right if it comes out in Autumn. Which could mean it might as well be VF6 with online then?
How many 360 games are out that don't support XBL??? NONE (to my knowledge), especially 'versus' style games! This is being reworked to add online play - I have no doubts!
I doubt it will have online play, sega said themselves that the game needs perfect timing and Online play will ruin the experience. I think sega are having problems with the port because graphically at the moment the game is really inferior compared to the PS3 version but what do you expect its a 360 at the end of the day.
I would like to hope it is bc of the addition of online, but online was shot down as far as I remember. Most likely it is just for time exclusive reasons.
Maybe they don't want to put a lot of money into a port so they need to strech the resources. It's fair to say fighting games have lost the appeal to most gamers :( a sad but true thought. Or yeah maybe they figured out how to put online in the title, but I'm thinking not seeing that it was already confirmed by Sega that it's an offline game.... who knows
most likely some porting issues.. you know, VF5 arcade is build on nvidia graphic card. =)
Let it be known... Sony fans may be ok with no online multiplayer... but if dont add online multiplay to the game just dont bother.
Sega is dumb if they dont add multi-player and their accuse for not adding it is lame get off your arse and do it
VF is not DOA. It's damn precise and not something that can handle lag very well. DOA is an decent game but precision isn't as necessary for a good match. VF demands absolute precision. If they add MP, it'll probably be fun to try out, but nothing a serious VF player could rely on to be precise. Basically, if everything in VF is tournament quality, the online would have to be too, and Sega has said before they're not sure if they can do it without compromising the gameplay.
This is fact Gamestop and Best Buy both list a 10-09-07 as a release date. I'm sure for OLC.
This is a fun game when you have someone to play with. I wish they could of gave it an online mode to give it more value. because of that I will say just rent it when you have company over. I bought it on the PS3 and enjoy it.
don't dare pay 59.99 thats way too much for this type of game
The game has no online play because it would be as shiitty as dead or alive's (LAG). VF > Tekken VF > DOA VF5 is great, and 360 fanboys shouldn't miss this one, unlike xbox 360 rocks, which is a moron. Obviously he would think that since he played it on PS3.
