Nick @ PS3Center writes: When questioned about about the viability of PS3 platform during the investor Q&A, THQ CEO Brian Farrell told investors that he was particularly "pleased" with PS3 sales after it's September price cut.
Last gen, there were about 200 mil consoles sold total, 140 of which were PS2s. If the PS3 can start converting those 140 mil PS3 owners, this could be big for Sony.
I'm pretty sure this would always have happened, imo the Wii expanded the console market to the very old and very young, but everyone in between was still wanting a PS3 or 360.
"Bu, bu, bu, but, teh PS3 is teh doomed!!" *sobs uncontrollably*
Lol gotta love those "bu..bu.buts".
