so, I guess its an old mag scan?

Hydrolex3709d ago

If you dont agree you are not honest !

Only in your mind, seeing how GT5 is still nowhere in sight.

So I've always been a fan of Collin Mcrae Rally,TOCA and F1...and Dirt - real driving sims rather than GT or Forza. Those latter games look pretty and have a wide range of cars and I will prob buy them for their simple archady gameplay - and those damn cars - but get real folks:

Other racing games > Forza or GT.

Bring on Dirt - a real driving experience.

GameJunkieJim3709d ago

Damn, I had hopes for it, but it looks to be dashed again.

"We won't see damage on a Ferrari"

Lame.

Am I an idiot?...or was it just a series of typos in the translation...

it kept saying GT4 in HD...and premium or classic? what is that? I thought the whole GTHD concept was scrapped? (which was already described as a slightly improved GT4 engine for resolution only for the most part...that coming from Polyphony after the announcement of GTHD not getting the welcome they were hoping for)...are they releasing more of the GTHD concept? and then focusing fully on GT 5? Or is it all GT 5, just was mixed up in the translation?

They have danced around the damage idea since A-spec...there are lots of rumors surrounding it...Its cool though that the real F1 cars will be in it, as long as its as good as F1 '06...F1 '06 is definately one of the most impressive sims available right now...hugely underrated...absolute best sound of any racing game ever made...

damage will be limited?
might as well not put damage at all.

true?

eLiNeS_NIGGER3709d ago

Did your dumb self even read any of that, They said that a damage model would be with RACE AND RALLY CARS!!! which in my opinion is good enough. I dont want to trash an Enzo when drifting on le sathe (might of made an error with spelling)lol. Anyway the damage is likely to be a full model with Race and rally cars i'm guessing. And just to think people give the GT series BS because of not having damage, Oh wait the forza 2 damage model sucks, you hit a wall at 200 MPH and you get a big dint!!! in real life the car would break up into pieces. WE are now looking at the most realistic driving game to ever walk the earth.
...........LONG LIVE GRAN TURISMO.

Double-Edged3709d ago

I played the Forza Demo.
I can trash a ferrari any time I want.

"Oh wait the forza 2 damage model sucks, you hit a wall at 200 MPH and you get a big dint!!! in real life the car would break up into pieces"

umm... I've played Forza 1... i've hit a wall running 200... and I could barely drive my car... it had lost 2nd gear and the gear ratios were messed up.
What happens when you hit a wall 200 with a ferrari in GT????
can you answer me that? can you answer what is more realistic?

"They said that a damage model would be with RACE AND RALLY CARS"

ummmmmm.... is not ferrari enzo a racing car? hmmmm... then i dont expect to ruin JDM cars then....
