Digital Spy: Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games (DS) Review

Despite grabbing one of the most lucrative licences on the planet - the Winter Olympics - Mario and Sonic's second outing isn't about just hitting the piste or bagging medals. While it has its fair share of snow-filled sports, this isn't a gauntlet of stylus-scribbling or button mashing, but a sprawling adventure with cast members from two of the most recognisable franchises in the business. It's an interesting move that almost sidelines the purpose of the game, but eventually ends up saving it. (Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Nintendo DS) 3/5
