I think magazines should go the way of the dinosaur. Not only is the news old because everyone can read it sooner on the Internet, but people can get the news free on the Internet. There's no need to pay for news this day in age.

Another factor is the amount of waste created by printed materials. Just think of how many trees are cut down to produce the paper? How many of these magazines get recycled? You have to also factor in the environmental cost of magazines - fuels to transport as well as the energy used to print them.

I think the same about newspapers.

I have to say I agree with you Feral gamer, it's time for them to bow out. The printed press is slowly dying because of things like the internet and mobile devices. Most people get news on the computer or their phones.
