IGN: Golden Axe Arcade Review

With a new release both this week and last, the Virtual Console Arcade's slow pace might finally be picking up. And though many of the VCA games you're getting right now are reruns, IGN is hopeful that the groundwork is being laid for some better, more exciting releases to come -- Golden Axe might be a game you've seen before, for example, but with it installed in the Wii Shop in VCA form you might now be set up to receive its superior arcade-only sequel, Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder.

Presentation - 7.5
Graphics - 7.0
Sound - 7.0
Gameplay - 7.0
Lasting Appeal - 6.0
Overall - (Golden Axe, Wii) 7/10
