CVG writes: "The first Dragon Age: Origins review has arrived via PC Gamer magazine, which brands the BioWare game "RPG of the decade" in its 94% review.
"Thus begins Dragon Age, one of the most enormous and astonishing of games," it says. "Were the difficulty levels not so enormously silly, it would require sheer pickiness to find a major fault with this game."
PC Gamer calls Origins' gigantic environment "the most enormously detailed game world I've experienced, its history stretching back thousands of years, its cultures vivid, beautiful and flawed, the battles enormous, the humour superb."
GF365: "If you’re a reader, this list of great games for avid readers is for you. Games are a form of art, and some have written literature in them."
Here are some great action role-playing video games to play while waiting for the highly anticipated Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Talented writers can build worlds that are as wondrous as real-life. Here are the best lore-rich video games for you to get immersed in.
How'd fallout not make the list. Atleast over cyberpunk, tales , and halo. Fallout been around since what 96 98 and has 5 6 games into it. It's full of lore when you play it. I'd even add star ocean to a point.
narration is more important than lore i'd rather watch the story and characters in a more cinematic way instead of searching for notes and stuff that's why i love sony exclusive games like uncharted and gow and hate from software games
buddy
edit-
this is misleading because this isnt the actual review but an article of a review they saw
have you seen the gameplay videos (not the cgi videos that bioware tends to show-off)?
gameplay looks crappy. animations are stiff. combat is a lot like FFXII but not as cool. the setting cannot be more generic. seriously, elves, dwarves, humans, dragons. the story is told via long, boring dialogue.
oh, it's from bioware - that's why it's overrated just like mass defect
oh yeah, RPG of the decade Diablo 2 or Final Fantasy XII or Morrowind
