Turkish PS3 website PST reviewed Borderlands. Here is the summary;
With it's cellshade graphics, Borderlands is a great looking game. Nice animations and enemy designs are impressive and help to create a Mad Max-like world.
Borderlands aims to create a new baby; FRPS. Even they fail to reach this aim, game is very entertaining. In action, it shows that you are playing a pure FPS game. But when it comes to character progression, you are starting to see it's RPG roots. With it's user friendly menu, Borderlands is easy and fun to play. The game has an huge map, so you can find lots of places to explore. In first 1-2 hours, trying to reach places by walk can be dull but when you get special features, you can use cars and even use buses to reach your destination shortly.
Because of some minor problems, we can not say this game is a badass classic but these can not change the fact that Borderlands is one of the greatest games in 2009.
