Let us all welcome the sleeper hit of 2009, and quite frankly, a contender for game of the year. Borderlands from Gearbox Software and 2K Games is one of those rare games that come from out of nowhere and hits it out of the park. With shortages already occurring a few days into it's release, Borderlands is going to be a force to be reckoned with.
This sounds awesome. This afternoon, Genvid Entertainment announced two, all-new interactive streaming series at San Diego-Comic Con: DC Heroes United and Borderlands EchoVision Live.
GF365: "Most games are not perfect and that may be because of a character or an enemy. Here are 10 mediocre bosses in great games."
The Pursuer from Dark Spuls 2 was great, I think the author just sucks at games.
TheGamer Writes "I don't think my most controversial video game take should be that controversial, but it is. I'm a video game journalist, so you know I have some bad takes in this broken down serotonin factory I call a brain, but here's one opinion that receives universal pushback: I don't like video game music."
I wouldn't be surprised if this game was a nominee for GOTY. Taking features from the most popular videogames in the past 10 years and stirring them into something that's never been done before. Sounds like a recipe for success.
Its a fun game but I really dont see it as Game of the Year. Way too shallow. Though like we learned from Astroids or Pacman, shallow can be good. I could see it as a co-op game of the year if there was that category. Its good for running around with your friends and laying waste to everything that moves. But as a full gaming experience it lacks in the single player area.
