zConnection Top 5 Hand-Held Role-Playing Games

zConnection's Connor Beaton writes: "Role-playing games are notorious for boasting tens, if not hundreds, of hours of playtime. It's curious then to consider the fairly large number of role-playing games seen on hand-held platforms, where a "jump-in-jump-out" modus operandi is more frequently encouraged. It's a good thing, however, to know that any spare time you find yourself having – a long subway trip, a doctor's waiting room – can be used to grind levels and destroy your enemies, especially with newer systems like the DS allowing players to slap down the lid and immediately pause their adventure.

"With so many hand-held role-playing games out there, we've decided to compile a list of our five favourite, whether they be for the Nintendo DS, the Game Boy Advance or the PlayStation Portable." (Final Fantasy IV, Jeanne d'Arc, Nintendo DS, PSP, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor)
