Donkey Kong Country 2 Review (Virtual Console)

Arguably the best game in the Donkey Kong Country series makes its way to the Virtual Console.

Before Viva Piñata, Golden-Eye, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Kazooie, and Conker, our favorite British game company, Rare, had the Donkey Kong Country series on the SNES. While many would like to say that the series was only really known for having amazing graphics for the time (even game deity Shigeru Miyamoto said something of that nature), none can argue that the DKC games were wildly successful. The second game in the franchise, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest, is also arguably the best game in the series.

The story is too old to be commented.

No, trust me...it's not worth it.

I'm bored with my Wii already...and I got it two days ago. The Warhawk BETA's out. I'm not sure when I'll pick up the wii-mote again...

Yes, DKC2 was freakin' AMAZING, but it's not $250 amazing.

I suggest using a SNES emuator and using the DKC2 rom for it. It's actually quite good on PC...haha.

Ah yes. A little DK action. Man SNES is still the best console made. I hope the VC gets filled with it's past glory
