Microsoft trademarks new IPTV logo

Microsoft has trademarked a new logo which will be used for a new range of IPTV services.

The trademark description refers to downloadable video content, as well as the ability to transmit photos, video, and music over their broadband connections and digital video recording. The logo itself is described as 'arrowheads diverging from disc.'

I think until they have all angles convered they will not release it on other regions. I know it sucks but, it's better to not have it then to have it and have everyone hate it. Problem with this kind of things is that they only get one chance to get it right. Also, have any european service provider show any interest on this? Microsoft is not doing this alone.

they're going to have to price it better than cable or satellite tv if they want to draw customers, otherwise, it will be a big flop and we all know that micrsoft will do whatever it takes in order to draw customers from competing companies :)

well i hope your right, as i am getting Sky put in my bedroom for £10 a month with all channels. (multi room, just £10 extra on what your already paying).

I hope IOTV lives up to expectations, but I think it'll be too expensive to bother with most likely.
