Only $5 more for the deluxe edition. That's a pretty great deal. Retail for PC is like $65 and for consoles it's $75. Granted, you don't get things like physical maps, but you do still get all the game content including DLC and a digital copy of the soundtrack.

I just noticed that the Digital Deluxe Edition is $65 on other digital distribution sites. That makes the Steam version an excellent deal, then.

This is NOT the better deal.

Go to impulse, type in the code SURVEY-2009 at checkout, and you get 20% off every game. Including pre-orders

That means Dragon Age Origins cost $40 and the Deluxe Edition costs $52

Not sure if I'm getting this. Demon's Souls kinda quenched my WRPG thirst for now.

I'll have to wait and see what the reviews say.

Demon's Souls is not a WRPG...

Whilst I haven't yet picked up Demon's Souls, judging from the reviews and videos of it I have seen it is a very different game from Dragon Age. If you know any other Bioware titles like Neverwinter Nights, Knights of the Old Republic or Mass Effect you'll know what I mean.

Dragon Age is most reminiscent of the Baldur's Gate series, some of the greatest RPGs ever made.
