PSP-3000 Costs $100 Less Than PSPgo in Japan, and Sony Doesn't Care

To many gamers, the PSPgo seems like an extremely bold move from Sony – a hearty push toward an all-digital future. Then again, maybe they're not pushing all that powerfully.

The PSP-3000, which will remain in production and on store shelves when the PSPgo arrives in Japan in November, will sell for nearly $100 less than the new UMD-less handheld. More amazingly, Sony claims they're not concerned about this major price difference.
