Evil Avatar writes: "I wasn't happy when I found out that Raven weren't working on the sequel to Marvel Ultimate Alliance, the successor to their brilliant X-Men Legends series, given the pedigree that those three titles gave them. The first MUA (we'll use that convenient acronym) delivered a who's who playable character list and an enjoyable, linear story. The action/RPG genre was wrapped around the capes and colorful boots of Marvel with a surprising amount of depth left in given the games mass market appeal. Now, on the other hand, Vicarious Visions have been responsible for a variety of ports of various Activision franchises. You can see why I might be sceptical."
