NOWGamer: Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 PS3 Review

There was a time when the title of Konami's longstanding football series actually meant something; a signifier of the pursuit of excellence, with the promise of continued and improved innovation every time a new PES title reared its head. Alas, if Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 is anything to go by, it would seem that series godfather Shingo 'Seabass' Takatsuka and his team have lost all interest in Darwinism. Indeed, if we were to continue this flimsy metaphor we'd bang on about natural selection and PES falling down the food chain, but you get the idea. This is the series' third game in a row that has failed to match the competition and as the saying goes: if you don't improve in this league, you move backwards.
