Finally, a Wii game which supports online multiplayer! Check out the new TV ad.
This ad is currently playing across North America, and gives us the very first glimpse (and it really is nothing more than a glimpse) of the gameplay. We're glad the Wii is finally getting a piece of the online action, but Nintendo still have a very long way to go to catch up to the 360 as far as online play is concerned.
It's Bring it Back Sunday, and GotGame has a new retrospective with a spotlight on Next Level Games' Mario Strikers series.
Omar writes: "Let's celebrate MAR10 Day by checking out some of the best Mario spinoffs out there."
Greysun writes: "Let's revisit some older Mario franchises that need to make a comeback on the Nintendo Switch."
I think we're due for more Mario RPGs. Instead we just get a lot of other multi console releases. Don't get me wrong, I think it is great that these titles are coming to the switch, but I'd rather see titles of what Nintendo is know for. It seems like development is going slow.
After the last Paper mario game I'm not sure if they could do another one justice. Though I would love another Mario & Luigi RPG and a Mario Strikers.
lol man, did any other Americans have trouble understanding what the ppl in the commercial were saying? Maybe I just need some coffee or something to wake up.
Anyway, the site says that the commercial's airing across North America but I doubt it, especially since the narrator refers to the game as Mario Strikers Charged: Football. I assume it's not going to be referred to as "football" when it's released in NA but I could be wrong.

yeh i saw it the other day, it said "the first Wii game to support online play" or something like that. to be honest i am pretty interested in how this is going to turn out, especially with the Wii controlls etc, see if there is any lag etc. should be quite good as i know Nintendo do make quality products
