IncGamers reports that the first DLC pack for Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is coming soon, with title updates based on player feedback to follow.
Awesome. This game is da bomb. Or da bum, I'm not sure, but it's good, and it shoots at your bum. I still think the original was best htough, but this is still da bum bomb
I'm really happy to read that their getting the dlc out so quickly. Though this game lacks the over-the-top production values of what seems like an avalanche of games (esp. on the PS3) recently, it still packs a solid punch gameplay-wise which is where it really counts.
wow that was quick!?
So new weapons and maps? Cool!
Nice to see they listen to player feedback! :)
So that's a long wait just to fix the bugs. I doubt you'll get much in the way of maps etc.
Or they'll see a drastic decline in server usage.
I gave it a rent. It was good at first. But after getting a little over half-way threw the story, I was starting to get very angry at the game. The controls were okay, But what was getting me was my AI teammates, and the guys online were not much better. Especially the bad connection to the other users. Half way threw a match it would drop, Or my teammates were all dead.
"...we'll need to get feedback from the people who are playing it, and if need be make a few adjustments and tweaks." - yes you do. "...the game did contain a few bugs and other assorted issues." - errr.. a little more than a few dear Sion. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the game but it does feel a little too much like a beta with all bugs. Its a shame, Codemasters have really let themselves down by releasing it in this state. Lets hope they can get some redemption and get everything patched up and working sharpish.
Will this patch allow us to drive & use all 50+ & 70+ vehicles & weapons in the game? .. Because I've only used like 4 weapons & 5 vehicles in the full 6 hour campaign.. Wierd.
It better be in a few weeks instead of months; Or this game will be forgotten i'm afraid. Oh BTW i have been enjoying this game, it's just not what we were promised.
