GoFanboy writes: "Attention, junior archaeologists: Fossil Fighters on the Nintendo DS just might be the game for you. The object of the game is to build a collection of over 100 dinosaurs, or vivosaurs, as they are called in the game, and battle it out against other vivosaurs for the chance to level up. Players use the touch screen and stylus to dig for fossils. All elements of archaeology are present as you hammer, chip, drill and brush away the rock around the fossil. You even blow into the microphone to blow dust buildup away. Be sure to handle that fossil with care. The better you handle the fossils during the cleaning process, the more powerful your vivosaurs will be in battle. To bring a vivosaur to life, you must first find the head. The body, arms and legs can be added later to make your vivosaur more powerful in battle. There is also a multiplayer function that allows you to battle or trade fossils with friends."
