Advance Wars made quite a name for itself when it first launched on the GBA many years ago. Reviewers cited its thorough design, players cited its deep gameplay and unbelievable addictiveness, and the game became a smash hit, quite unexpectedly. Series developer Intelligent Systems followed this through pretty fast with a sequel, that somehow never got quite the same amount of acclaim that the first title had garnered. In its own right, though, the title was bigger and better than anything the first one could claim to be.
Not every IP gets a long, guaranteed life filled with fame, fortune, and spin-offs. There are far more Gex-es out there than Marios. But, that doesn’t mean the series that died off are bad or less deserving. Some of them are both fan favorites and critically acclaimed. They just, well, didn’t make enough money or ended up lost to time.

A new Golden Sun and Mother would be great, but I wish I wasn't the only one that wants a new StarTropics.

played the shit out of this one and the first entry. Great games, if I remember correctly u could play this game multiplayer with only one cartridge, the maps and animations were a bit limited then though.
Would love to see a new entry on the switch.
