New VR tech simulates effects of being shot

Kinda funny fail. I can hardly connect military technology with the one we use in games.

@below: I was writing about this tech in particular. We've been promising jackets with feedback 10 years ago and I doubt we will profit from this tech soon.

Connections between the two abound, actually. The US Army bankrolled its own first-person shooter for training and recruitment purposes, you know.

Well, I see your point inasmuch as it's not a commercial product, but then again: virtual environment, force feedback, simulated gunfire. It doesn't take a genius to see the overlap :p

LOL when i play a FPS I feel like I've been shot all the time usually due to heavy drinking the night before...

and they say it's the games that're killing people, hilary should focus on kids boozing!
