Aussie-Nintendo: Scribblenauts Review

Scribblenauts is a brilliant concept, nicely executed, but unfortunately with some small flaws (although 5th Cell has proved their dedication to the game by programming in thousands of items and their behaviours – you can even create members of the development team and the 5th Cell logo itself if you want). The ability to summon almost any object you can think of, and then use it to solve a problem offers myriad possibilities for experimentation, however control, path-finding and camera issues can lower the enjoyment of what the game has to offer.

The level editor shows promise though, and a lot of fun is to be had in the sandbox mode as well. It's worth trying out at least, and if you persevere with the game despite the aforementioned problems there's a lot to enjoy.
