Gamernode Review Demon's Souls

Eddie Inzauto: Although countless dungeon crawlers have been released throughout videogame history, there has never been anything quite like From Software's Demon's Souls. This Atlus-published action RPG uses sprawling, atmospheric worlds, haunting game concepts and mechanics, an unconventional control scheme, and formidable difficulty to envelop players in an experience that is easily one of the best of the year. (Demon's Souls, PS3) 9.5/10

Truly great game. Starts off slow, demos poorly, but once you get into it, it's really addictive.

Definitely not a game to play when you feel like you may have to use the bathroom. Anyway great game, and I must say that I got so into into it that I couldn't even touched my pizza!

lol
I completely forgot about not being able to pause the game. I remember the times I had to use the restroom, but couldn't because I couldn't pause it.

Yeah lol I found that out the hard way after I tried to pause and saw that menu with the screen continuing to move. So far I found just killing the enemies in the area and finding a safe spot somewhere in a corner allows me time to go to the bathroom. So far it seems to work :p.

Yeah that works....
but I still get a little paranoid doing it. The way I found out is when I answered the phone and died during the conversation. This game can be relentlessly brutal, to where you're even worried about going to the bathroom.
