PSPgo refuses downloaded games from UMD reward program

Sony offers a reward program that provides three free games for every PSPgo customer who already owns an older PSP model with at least one UMD. But there seems to be a big problem with the restrictions of this offer. Many users in Sony's official forums claim the games to be unusable on the PSPgo if you downloaded them via PlayStation 3 and try to transfer them to the PSPgo afterwards. It seems like the games are automatically linked to the machine which downloaded them and they can just be used on that system only. So for example in case of a broken PSPgo, you can't play the games from the reward program on your new handheld after a possibly unavoidable exchange caused by technical issues. (PSP)
