Kaz: Expect perfection for GT5's damage system & new gallery

Polyphony's Kazunori Yamauchi states that gamers should expect perfection for Gran Turismo 5's damage system.

Polyphony Digital had already made it clear that the Gran Turismo 5 damage system on show at GamesCom and the Tokyo Games Show was unfinished, but many still felt disappointed by the limited nature of the damage.

It's of course true that not all car models will feature realistic damage, with many of the road cars only being subjected to light scuffs and scrapes. But when it comes to the rally and NASCAR racing cars, the PlayStation 3 studio is keen to implement full damage. What that means, has previously been unclear.

However, the studio's head is confident enough to state his desire to achieve perfection. (Gran Turismo 5, PS3)
