That would be total win if they had something like that in home.

Imagine a place to go and get on virtual roller coasters and hang out in huge arcades with lots of cool games (bigger and more expansive than the bowling alley).

Bumper cars and all sorts of stuff to do. You can still chat with friends but actually have fun doing it (no offense). I just dont find anything of interest in the home spaces. The spaces are cool but nothing to really do.

Make it a serious theme park and I will gladly buy a season pass.

I don't know why, I was so excited about it before it came out. Now when I go in its like a bunch of people running around jumping in your face and dancing. Bowling was OK, but it just leaves me kind of meh about it. Doesn't mean other people don't like it, just not for me I guess.

Home has come a long way and has still more work ahead of it. In its current state, I've had a lot of fun and met many interesting people who I play games with. As a community service, which is what Home is intended to be, it succeeds. Functionality is improving (game launching which is nice) and will continue to increase when they add audio and video streaming, opening up more possibilities for communal interaction.

You say Home is a joke to you, so I ask you, why is it a joke and what do you think will make it worthwhile to you?

all i want next is TV media watching in your space w/friends (especially if youve purchased something from the ps Movie store) and your own Custom Music from your HDD to play.

I agree completely, once you can share videos with friends in your personal space, home will be awesome. A few friends and I have been going to the theater and entering the different theater rooms at the same time so we can talk about the game or product that is being advertised and it is really cool. To be able to load videos off your hdd and share them with friends through home would own.

I believe I read a post by one of Home's community managers about being able to view the PS Store through Home being a possibility. I downright love your suggestion of streaming PS Store videos through Home and I can see that happening. I'm sure it'll happen once Sony takes care of the licensing issues.

As for video sharing all they have to do, to prevent easy recording, is set it so that while its playing it shows in a screen smaller than the real TV its on. Like the 360's video sharing.

Remember Jessica's Apartment space that was open during Xi? That'show the media streaming will be handled. Compressed video most likely and the option for Full Screen will zoom in on the TV but not completely fill the screen.

My only complaint is no way to play music without the mic, yes I know there's legal reasons but still that's the only thing I really ask for.

The all games launching would be perfect for Killzone 2 matches especially when I get sick of having to log out of home to ask someone to join; now I can just game launch it and be set; same with Puzzle Fighter

i might change my cache to 5gb, depends on how much faster it makes it though. i only have a 80gb HHD (40gb ps3) so there's no way i'm choosing 8gb or 12gb cache

Do you see what SONY is doing? PSN Community all integrated thru HOME, launching games and having a blast with anyone you choose in any multiplayer game! That's a sweet option I like. I loved Warhawk for having it. When your done gaming you go back to HOME and chill. I was pretty happy with voice chat removed in the open areas because verbal abuse, but since it was prox chat let me choose who I want thru their profile window, atleast 6 people, and they don't have tobe on my friendslist. PSN IT WILL DO EVERYTHING not just the PS3.

The problem is theres just not much to do. the whole thing relyes on a good community.

it is getting better, you can get some decent converstions now. But to start with it was just a mess, tons of idiots everywhere just generally verbally attacking people...

As time goes on though those people will get bored and go somewhere else, or get banned from PSN and so home is getting better.

still waiting for voice chat to come back, if i wanted to type as a form of communication I would be a PC gamer. I hope they come out with a home party chat or private chat, I didn't care for the original method.
