After a string of critically acclaimed puzzlers, including Lumines and Meteos, 2006's Ninety-Nine Nights was developer/publisher Q Entertainment's first real miss. Of course, Q guru Tetsuya Mizuguchi was only peripherally involved, and anyone who thought a Dynasty Warriors-style hack-and-slasher would offer the same innovation as music-themed puzzler probably had unrealistic expectations to start with. For Q's part, they're going with a different developer this time around in Feelplus, known for their work on Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon Plus.
