i agree with the hole list

Demon's Souls 2 would be great.

Beast_Master3253d ago

Infamous 2 and Heavenly Sword 2 for my money.. The other games I have not played.

Heavenly Sword needs to become a damn Greatest Hits game already. Seeing how long its taking I doubt we'll be seeing an sequel for it depending if it was successful or not in Sony's eyes.

Stick a w in front of the hole and you might make some sense. Just a little tip for ya.

Yea, I say Heavenly Sword and Infamous and I still think Nariko should be a playable character in GOW 3.

Folklore - Didn't really care for the game, but do see the appeal by many JRPG fans. Sequel wouldn't hurt, but I doubt I'd buy it.

Demon's Souls - Don't even have it yet and I know I'd love to see a sequel.

Heavenly Sword - The game was okay for me. I would hope a sequel would improve the overall gameplay, storyline, and depth a bit more. Oh, and get rid of the sixaxis elements of the game. I know I'm one of the few, but really wish there was an option to control your shots using the analog pads instead of sixaxis.

Can't say on the others. Just think, a year ago we were screaming for Uncharted 2 and now we're getting it :)

@jwatt: Yeah, I would mention inFamous, but I'm fairly certain we'll be seeing a sequel to that game, so no worries.

That would be a cool easter egg or an unlockable. One game mode that can be used for HS2 online would be you & 3 other players use those cannons & take down as many enemies before succumbing to your deaths. Like horde. Or have an deathbow match where you have to take down other opponents navigating your arrows with the motion controller.

This is the one exclusive the NEEDS a sequel. Sure the game has some flaws but it is one hell of a story, and the universe is beautiful. It is still one of the most visually amazing games around.

I'm sure Sony would love to do a sequel, but even though they own the IP, I'd bet they want Ninja Theory to work on it.

I'm waiting for CWMR to reply on this one :-)

Heavenly Sword was a good game, but not worth $60.

@below, HS was only 5 hours long. BioShock was around 20 hours.

dalibor3253d ago

Since you seem to know what price for Heavenly Sword should have been, let me ask you this in a civil way. What do you think the price for Bioshock should have been? Neither of the games have online but Bioshock was proven to be a much better game(reviews).

thor3253d ago

Yeah it was too short.

Thankfully you can now pick it up for cheap.

I knew it was short when I bought it, but I still didn't expect it to end when it did.

Fun game, though had other issues like not-always-fantastic performance and only 2 attack buttons for combos...

It's pretty obvious what he thinks Bioshock is worth.

SiteNblog Defender3253d ago

What's with the disagrees? Is Heavenly Sword a bad game then?

pixelsword3253d ago (Edited 3253d ago )

saying it's "just five hours" is a little bit aloof from the perspective of the average gamer when most people will go for the unlockables in the game.

Like I always say though, if the game is short, then play it on the hardest level the first time around: it will not only lengthen the game significantly, but it will also make you a better player when all is said and done.

@ SiteNblog Defender:

I think people are disagreeing with you because they believe the game IS worth $60.

I personally don't care what people think about the price as it is no longer @ $60 where I live that I know of.

Christopher3253d ago

It's an exclusive title that isn't a crappy game. So, telling it like it is may get you tons of disagrees just because people don't like being told someone else's opinion 'round here on their exclusives.

I picked up Heavenly Sword for $29.99 and found it worth that. It's not in my top ten PS3 games, but it's not bad. I am glad that I didn't spend $60 on it. There are a number of exclusives I have been VERY happy about spending $60+ dollars on, though.

Sarcasm3253d ago

Bioshock was not 20 hours. But it was good nonetheless.

HS is more around 7 hours. Short, but sweet. Although I agree it's really more of a rent.
