Halo 3: ODST Review at CheatCC

CheatCC says, "With the overabundance of multiplayer goodness combining with a somewhat short, but incredibly well done and interesting six hour, single-player and/or co-op campaign, Halo 3: ODST's sixty dollar price tag is more than justified for newcomers to the series. However, if you've already paid for most of the included multiplayer maps it may be a little harder to get past the game's price tag. Even so, the new Firefight mode, three new multiplayer maps, a Halo: Reach beta invite, and an excellent six hour campaign should definitely be more than enough to make any Halo fan happily slap down sixty dollars for ODST."

till we get all the blog reviews bringing the score down and spoiling everything like what happened with gears 2?

Honestly people are just strange when it comes to purposely trying to run something into the dirt they have no interest in anyway.

Reviews have become a joke this gen. The internet can make anybody a reviewer and it is showing with some of the comments in the other review posts.

I dont believe in reviews anymore. Just like in movies. I will see it for myself and reserve my own judgement. Games are no different to me.
If this game gets all 10's or all 1's I am still getting it because that is my choice.

"how long....
till we get all the blog reviews bringing the score down and spoiling everything like what happened with gears 2? "

It's already happening. Such a waste of energy since this game is selling like crazy.

Syronicus2984d ago

Ok... Good luck with that.

evrfighter2984d ago

"So reviews that reflect your opinion are the only ones that matter?
Ok... Good luck with that. "

Wouldn't you agree he has a point when a third of the reviews are from no-name sites giving Halo low scores for hits.

The reviews from sites that matter should be the ones that matter.

Sarcasm2984d ago

"The reviews from sites that matter should be the ones that matter. "

In other words, "Anything less than a 9 is a no-name website"

pumpkinpunker2984d ago (Edited 2984d ago )

No, a no-name site is a site no one has heard of that puts out a two paragraph poorly written review with 5 pop-up ads and 20 banner ads or a site that basically amounts to a glorified livejournal account.

"if you've already paid for most of the included multiplayer maps it may be a little harder to get past the game's price tag."

And yet it gets a 92 out of 100, lmao, even when a reviewer praises Uncharted 2 as beating Hollywood's Spielberg in quality giving it an 8 out of 10 (not to mention its second opinion is a 10 out of 10)

Who still thinks these "numbers" called reviews mean anything?

Despite you obviously pointing out some facts, by using the word 'Gayle' I am thus unable to agree with you. Sorry, you may be right but you are a fanboy, I shall not disagree though.

Uncharted 2 is a superiror made game, but better in a world where better=fun is hard to tell, someone might find Halo 3 more fun, or someone else Uncharted 2 more fun.

In my opinion, UNCHARTED 2 ROCKS MY SOCKS AND EVERYONE SHOULD BUY IT IF they liked the demo.

nice scale there cheatcc.com

you think youre helping?

"a Halo: Reach beta invite, and an excellent six hour campaign should definitely be more than enough to make any Halo fan happily slap down sixty dollars for ODST."

You must think all xbots are happy fun loving people.
these are the most gullable fans in all of gaming.

RAM MAGNUMS2984d ago

you mean thier isnt the feeling of been there and done that?
great graphics there... um... i guess... ?

THey should re-review resistance 2's co-op campaign.
thats fun and original unlike firefight freshly ripped from horde mode. I wonder what epic thinks of this? ah well, who cares? were ripping epic too with quantom.

lh_swe2984d ago (Edited 2984d ago )

Really? have you compared the two? have you played either?

Gears of War 2 is an awesome game and Quantum is looking to copy everything from the cover-system, character models, even the HUD looks the same (ammo indicator is an exact copy). The game may be good but it screams rip-off.

It's like Dante's Inferno, a game which may be really good but it takes after God of War III in soo many ways and there is usually a trend between developers with a lack of originality and quality.

EDIT-Sorry about the misunderstanding, but thats my opinion in any case.

peeps2984d ago

i rarely agree with any of ram's posts lol but where did he say quantom would be better than gow2? he's saying it's ripping gow2 off with it's style if anything lol

evrfighter2984d ago

i had to lookup this quantum game and I lol'd

when trying to be original doesn't work. Just completely carbon copy.
