Newly-formed specialist developer Softkinetic Studios today announced its first title. Codenamed Silhouette, it looks set to be the world's first game to be controlled via full-body gesture recognition.
Silhouette challenges players with a series of rapidly approaching walls, with person-shaped holes in the middle. Players must form the pose required to pass through the hole, and… hang on! This isn't new! This is ludicrous Japanese (and now British) game show Hole in the Wall! Seriously! Look it up!
The game is set to be showcased at the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, California, from September 30th to October 2nd, 2009. Attendees will get the chance to go hands-on with the game and its pioneering technology.
