Kingdom Hearts gets Co-Op play on PSP

The latest V-Jump magazine over in Japan has revealed that Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is to have an all new co-operative, multiplayer game mode playable by fans via the PSP multiplayer connection.

Up to 3 players will be able to link their PSPs together and battle in a special world known as the 'Mirage Arena.' The arena features computer terminals that will then allow players to select special co-op levels or replay bosses with more than one player.

Co-Op alters the gameplay somewhat, too - there'll be unique commands for players to use in the Mirage Arena, including the ability to cast positive spells on your friends to help cure them and so on. Players won't look identical as each player will be wearing different colored armor. (Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, PSP)
