Well, all I know is my door stop is gonna be letting me Enjoy matrix in HD come next Tuesday. Oh and if you wondering Batman Returns also looks great in HD. Too bad niether has hit Blu-ray. Oh and Do tell me how it will feel for blu-ray owners to know that they will pay about the same amount for Blood Diamond as I will, but get not even a third of the HD interactive features, if any. Me and my doorstop got some life in us yet. Oh and look, I stil have both my arms and legs after purchasing it, go fig.

...but who gives a damn about the Matrix trilogy. The original Matrix was stellar, fantastic! Matrix Reloaded was at a stretch just average. Was anyone else bored senseless by the time colonel sanders gave his speech. Oh, and that whole cave dancing scene – blah! Matrix Revolutions was absolutely dire - that whole speech as to why the Oracle now looked different because the original actress passed away was pointless and unnecessary. I was also so absolutely sick and tired of every character still doubting if Neo "is the one".

I used to own all 3 movies on DVD but after watching part 3 I decided to get rid of them all. I could easily sit through the original matrix but even with the improved audio and video experience I still don't feel I'll ever watch 2 or 3 ever again.

Obviously the Matrix trilogy on HD will do well but for goodness sake but I am not jumping into the HD movie war until some of the big movie franchises are released.

The 1080p movies on it are unbelievable. I can't wait to see what the update is for it in the morning. I finally found a copy of Planet Earth on HD dvd...Everywhere I went...Best Buy, Walmart, ect....they were always sold out. They always had blu ray copies in stock...But my experience is...if its out on both Blu ray and HD dvd...the HD dvd always looks better and has much more features to boot. I don't know why that is...but it stands true...Even on Movie Review sites...they say the same thing. Anyways...its 10 hours long...so I watch one hour tonight...I plan on watching 1 hour a day...mabye a couple on the weekends...But, its absolutely stunning....As of now I have about 110 HD dvd movies and 60 Blu ray movies. I only get the movies exclusive to each format then the movies that are on both...I now only get on HD dvd. Win loose or draw...I'm not missing out on any HD content...I can't even watch standard dvd's anymore....I'm always get excited when the 360 updates the console/games/ and now the HD dvd player. Its the under promis and over deliver concept that I absolutely enjoy about the 360. When I originally purchased them back in 2005...I didn't know I would be getting HDMI/1080p via componant/vga/movies/tv shows/media center/ect....Its pretty exciting stuff.
