SFX-360: WET Review

SFX-360 writes: "Seemingly straight out of Quentin Tarantino's closet comes WET, the new third person action game from Bethesda Softworks. Heavily modeled after 70's grindhouse films, WET combines lots of swordplay with 360 degrees of shooting and incredible acrobatic feats to take out waves of nameless thugs all in the name of revenge. As Rubi Malone, voiced by Eliza Dushku, you must combine all of your combat skills in wild combos during firefights for style points. Said points are then used to unlock even more skills, such as running up an enemy's chest before jumping backwards in a high angle arc and shooting him and all surrounding thugs dead. With a good sense of timing and a certain level of familiarity with WET's controls, you should be able to easily clear out an entire courtyard of enemies without getting hit once. Flashy, loud, and full of Eliza Dushku, there is plenty to love about WET. That is, until you play the game past the first few levels…"
