SarcasticGamer.com wrote an editorial that attempts to provide some insight on some confusing numbers bandied about by Penny Arcade and Joysitq.com relating to PAX attendance and the perceived failure of this year's PAX.
From the editorial: "PAX 2009 was crazy. The Seattle Convention Center sold out this year well in advance. Some "day of" tickets did go on sale after the convention began. According to Penny Arcade's Robert Khoo, 60,750 bought tickets and attended the event. Yet Khoo had publically stated that he expected 75,000 people to attend. Isn't there a maximum number of tickets that can be sold? What is going on here?
I don't get it. Either the event sold out, or it didn't..."
