Gamers step into the stereotypically single-minded shoes of Nate Renko, a pilot in the US air force who takes it upon himself to fly over Russian airspace and crash for no apparent reason. Upon emerging from his twisted wreck, there's some terrible luck as the island around him has been plunged into constant flux between the years 1950 and 2010. So, sprouts and horsemeat for dinner then, although at least he can nip down the bookies to pick up a little compensation.
